CALIWATER Cactus Water contains electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that aid hydration and are a vital part of a healthy lifestyle. In addition, we're bringing you Fit Five - a new series to inspire you to make wellness a priority.

This week, we interviewed our friend Whitney English to find out her Top 5 health and fitness apps. These are her recommendations for making your phone work for you:

Cronometer is a great option for tracking diet, exercise, and biometrics.  "I like this app because it keeps track of your micronutrient intake on top of everything else -- something most food trackers don't have," English told us.

Micronutrients like Vitamins A&C, iron, and calcium work with the macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat) to keep our bodies running efficiently and healthily, and Cronometer helps users get a better understanding of their complete nutritional picture. Pretty cool, huh?

Moves by ProtoGeo tracks your steps and maps out how far you went and where, so you'll never skip a chance to take the stairs or park at the far end of the lot. The more you move, the more you find your groove!

"This is a great app for home cooks," English said. "It lets you search for dishes and ingredients and gives you all the information you need on proper food storage."

So, if you're wondering how long the leftovers will keep -- or if that chicken in the freezer is still good -- just ask the Foodkeeper!

Happify contains games, activities, and meditations to help increase happiness and manage stress. Remember, mental health is huge aspect of overall wellness, so you've got to take care of your mind as well as your body!

"Classpass is perfect for people who like to constantly switch up their workout. From pilates to yoga to boxing to dance cardio, it keeps me on my toes everyday!" says English. ClassPass allows you to find countless fitness classes in your area. Use the app to search and book your next class!

Membership varies for each city; however, if you're a new user in L.A. you can sign up today and get your first month for only $19!
