Thirsty Souls: At Home Fitness

This week we're thirsty for home grown fitness.  Save yourself a trip to the gym; these simple and quick exercises can be done from the comfort of home, making it all the easier to achieve your New Year's Resolutions!

1. Quick Yoga

Avocadu's 20 minute yoga workout is perfect for beginners looking to stretch their stress away. Grab your mat and head out back for yoga in the open air!

2. Crossfit at Home

No need for a lot of bulky equipment - leverage your body weight for a strong, ripped physique. We recommended doing 10 lunges, 10 push ups, 10 squats, 10 sit ups, and 10 jumping jacks to get your blood pumping. Then, repeat!

3. TV Toning

Tone while you're tuning in by doing leg lifts, triceps dips, and kicks during commercials or while indulging in your favorite reality show. After all, you've got to work off the guilt of watching The Bachelor somehow!

4. Home Barre

Use a chair back or a window ledge instead of a ballet barre to bring grace and poise into your home workout. Any excuse to rock a leotard and messy bun, right? 

5. In and Around the House Cardio

From DVDs to subscription services to YouTube - there's no lack of fitspiration out there. Check out P90x, Dance Fitness with Jessica, and ForeverFit.TV for all the options you need to move, shake, and spin in 2017!
