Thirsty Souls: Water Workouts

This week we're thirsty for the ultimate summer sweat. Think outside the gym and spend the last of your dog days workin' it on the water with these mini-adventures.

1. Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

Get your balance in check while getting a full-body sweat under the sun by going stand-up paddle boarding. Remember, it's not about how many times you fall; it's about how many times you get back up!

2. Surfing

What's summer in SoCal without a decent shred? Beginners flock to Hermosa Beach, while intermediate and advanced surfers test their skills at Zuma Beach, Topanga, and Venice Beach. No matter where you roam, bring CALIWATER along and rock a crown of your best beachy waves.

3. Wake Boarding

Are you one of those "go big or go home" types? Grab a wakeboard and dare to catch some serious air on the water this summer. Just make sure someone gets it all on camera!

4. Paddle Boating

Lean back in luxury by scooting around in your very own (or rented) paddle boat!  Bring your bestie or cruise with your bae; one is the loneliest number on the lake!

5. Kayaking

Tone your upper body while taking in the sights, then hit up a local diner or café for a healthy lunch. The afternoon calls for a nap, of course!

6. Swimming

Get your Phelps on in the swimming pool or out in the open water; expect stress relief, increased lung capacity, and a killer tan as a result!
